History

Agnes Jabavathi is the President of the WEDS and the organization's Founder. She is a proud native of the nearby village of Sanarpatti block, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu, India. She has a strong desire to help others and began working as a social worker at a young age. She is sympathetic to the plight of the poor and downtrodden members of society.

She was taken aback by the horrors and discrimination perpetrated against women, children, and oppressed communities, and she vowed to help them through equity, justice, and empowerment. She has been working tirelessly to raise funds for the poor and needy. She wants to make sure that resources are distributed fairly to all members of society.
